Old photograph of Smith's Fountain in Wick, Caithness, Scotland. The fountain beside the Wick River was presented to the people of Wick in 1906 by the ex provost W Paterson Smith. The Bridge of Wick, a wide three arched bridge seen in the background, was designed by the engineer Murdoch Paterson and built between 1875 and 1877.
