Old photograph of Knockinaam Lodge by Portpatrick, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Built in 1869 as a hunting lodge this was also the site for a secret meeting between Sir Winston Churchill, General Eisenhower and their Chiefs of Staff during the Second World War and also inspired John Buchan while he was writing his novel, The 39 Steps.
