Old Photograph Billeting Room Eilean Donan Castle Scotland

Old photograph of the billeting room in Eilean Donan Castle, Scotland. This vaulted ceiling room, much of which was built by Farquhar MacRae, was made from countless pieces of stone varying in size. The external walls are fourteen feet in thickness. This Clan MacRae stronghold dating from the 13th century was ruined by naval bombardment in 1719, and the rebuilt.
