Old photograph of cottages, shops, houses and people on Shore Street in Bowmore, Isle of Islay, Scotland. The Street is deeply tied to the founding of Bowmore in 1768 by Daniel Campbell the Younger. It was built as Scotland's first planned village to resettle residents displaced from nearby Kilarrow
