Old Photograph Fishing Boats Harbour Montrose Scotland

Old photograph of fishing boats in the harbour in Montrose, Scotland. Montrose was visited and plundered in numerous instances by Danes. In the year 980 it was sacked and razed to the ground. It was once believed that a castle existed in Montrose in the 10th century and was destroyed by King Kenneth III.
