Brings back memories of better times for Methil. Used to stay at 10 Rose Street for our summer holidays with my grandparents, the upstairs tenement. The third shop along was 'Janetties', the best ice cream in the world, nougat wafers and cones, then over the road and down onto the docks, no health and safety in the 50s and 60s, just common sense.

My grandfather died on the High Street, 150 yards east of the junction with Suttie Street, which is the road to the right.

I'm still trying to find photographs of Rose Street before the tenements on the left were demolished and the new housing built.
