Old photograph of The Women's Institute in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. The building on Pilmuir Street, Dunfermline, was officially opened by Louise Carnegie on September 24, 1912. Designed by architect Archibald Welsh, it provided education and social facilities for local women.
