Kirkton of Tough, usually shortened to Tough, is a small village in the Marr area of Aberdeenshire. It is about 2.5 miles South East of Alford and 89 miles from Edinburgh. Tough is where the world famous, Aberdeen Angus breed of cattle was first bred.
