Old photograph of Trams, shops, houses and people at Eglinton Toll in Glasgow, Scotland. St Andrew's Cross also known as Eglinton Toll is a road junction in the Southside of the city of Glasgow. Tolls were introduced in 1750 to assist with the upkeep of the roads, and were paid at Toll Bars to a keeper who lived in a nearby house.
