Old Photograph Cambusnethan Scotland

Old photograph of shops, houses, Tram and people in Cambusnethan on the eastern edge of Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The parish of Cambusnethan dates back to at least the 12th century when a Norman lord established a manor and church in the area. For centuries, it was a vast rural parish stretching from Newmains to the River Clyde, long before the town of Wishaw even existed.
