Tour Scotland Photograph Video Salmon Leaping Buchanty Spout River Almond Perthshire

Tour Scotland video of salmon leaping at Buchanty Spout on visit to the River Almond in Glen Almond, Perthshire, Scotland. This Scottish river rises in the hills to the south east of Loch Tay, and flows eastwards through Glenalmond. It runs through the village of Almondbank, before joining the Tay immediately north of Perth. The term " salmon " comes from the Latin salmo, which in turn may have originated from salire, meaning " to leap ".
