Tour Scotland Video Parish Church Cleish Perthshire
Tour Scotland travel video of the Parish Church and graveyard cemetery on ancestry, genealogy, family history visit and trip to Cleish, Perthshire. There has been a Church on the site since the 13th century. In 1775 a new seated Church was built on the site by John Adam. In 1832 the new Church was burnt down, and the present one rebuilt in its place. The name Cleish is a Scottish and Northern Irish surname that is an Anglicized version of the Scottish Gaelic Mac Gille Iosa. Mac Gille Iosa is a patronymic that comes from a personal name meaning " servant of Jesus ".
