Tour Scotland Photograph Bullough Mausoleum Isle Of Rum

Tour Scotland photograph of the Bullough Mausoleum, Isle of Rhum, Inner Hebrides, Scotland. An enormous Doric temple of polished sandstone containing three large sarcophagi, an echo of classical Greece standing in splendid isolation against the sublime backdrop of the Cuillin; also, a monument to the inflated ego of the Bulloughs. For much of the 20th century the name became Rhum, a spelling invented by the former owner, Sir George Bullough, because he did not relish the idea of having the title " Laird of Rum ".
