Tour Scotland Boxing Day Video East Neuk Dook 2012

Tour Scotland Boxing Day video shot on December 26th, 201, of The East Neuk Dook in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. I shot a video of the Dook last year as well which you can view below, unfortunately, my video camera malfunctioned today, as you will see in the second half of this video. Sorry for the poor quality in that part of the video. This year the Dook was raising funds for SSAFA Forces Help, The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) Forces Help. They are the national charity for those who serve in our Armed Forces, those who used to serve, and their families. Their commitment is to provide a lifetime of support to anyone who has ever served.

Tour Scotland Boxing Day video shot on December 26th, 2011, today of brave souls plunging into the harbour at the East Neuk Big Dook in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. Some hardy, brave souls plunging into the harbour in my hometown today in Scotland. These folks were diving into the harbour on a very cold and windy day to raise money for a local hospital charity. They raised £5,200 today. Well done !! Dook, in Scots, means to go for a dip in water. The Anstruther Inshore Lifeboat was in attendance today when these folks plunged into the chilly depths of Anstruther Harbour for Charity. As always they did wonderful voluntary work for the local community on a cold and stormy day in the East Neuk of Fife. Well done lads, and lasses. Very proud of these folks, all the more since this is the where I was raised in Scotland.
