Old photograph of Hellia Spur, Rousay, Orkney Islands, Scotland. Rousay's highest cliff, Hellia Spur has many breeding Guillemot, Kittiwake and Razorbill during the summer months. A few Puffins nest in burrows at the top of these steep cliffs. The island of Rousay has evidence from every stage in the history of Orkney, with a Neolithic settlement at Rinyo, Bronze Age burnt mounds, Iron Age crannogs and brochs, Viking boat burials, remains of a medieval church and the stately home at Trumland.
