Tour Scotland travel photography of the West Pier and lighthouse on history visit and trip to Anstruther, East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. The West Pier was constructed in 1753 as part of the port's early organized maritime expansion. It later gained the Chalmers Lighthouse in 1880, built as a memorial to the prominent local theologian Dr. Thomas Chalmers.
