Tour Scotland photograph of Saint Andrew in the Kate Kennedy Procession in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. About the middle of the 10th century, Andrew became the patron saint of Scotland. Several legends state that the relics of Andrew were brought under supernatural guidance from Constantinople to the place where the modern town of St Andrews stands today. The St Andrews University Student portraying Saint Andrew today was Leopold Thun-Hohenstein.
