Old photograph of Corstorphine, Edinburgh, Scotland. One of the original villages that make up modern Edinburgh, Corstorphine is now a busy part of the capital situated to the West some three miles from Princes Street. The main road, St John's Road, is the connecting route with Glasgow. The original old village of Corstorphine stood east of a narrow strip of land which was between Gogar Loch to the west and Corstorphine Loch which was the larger.
