Tour Scotland Photograph Golfers Dunning Perthshire

Tour Scotland travel photography of golfers on the golf course on history visit and trip to Dunning, Strathearn, Perthshire, Scotland. The club was first founded in 1906 at Kincladie Cow Park. However, this initial layout lasted only a single year due to the extremely rough nature of the pasture land. In 1907 a group of local people cut into the hill above the village at Mains of Pitcairns Farm and along the Dunning burn to create 9 holes of golf. Sheep grazed there and it was not uncommon in these early days to have to sweep the sheep droppings off the greens.
