Tour Scotland travel video of the Punishment Jougs on ancestry, genealogy, history visit and trip to Abernethy, Perthshire, Scotland. Used as punishment for those found guilty of offence in Reformation Scotland. Miscreants would have this attached around their neck and be made to stand against the base of the tower. They would then proceed into the church to be reprimanded.
