Old photograph of Academy Street, Inverness, Scotland. It was originally called New Street, but was renamed after the Inverness Royal Academy was built in 1792. The Academy was a school for boys and girls that operated on Academy Street until 1895. The street has also been a busy shopping area and a site of many arrivals and departures.
