Tour Scotland Photograph Piper Statue Aberfeldy Whisky Distillery

Tour Scotland travel photography of the Piper Statue by the Whisky Distillery on visit and trip to Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland. Aberfeldy relies on the fresh water stream Pitilie Burn, which runs alongside the distillery and has been used for centuries to make whisky. Aberfeldy is the only distillery in Scotland to use these waters. Aberfeldy uses only Scottish barley, yeast, and water to make their single malt Scotch whisky. Established in 1896 by John Dewar and Sons, Aberfeldy started operating in 1898. All photographs are copyright of Sandy Stevenson, Tour Scotland, and may not be used without permission.
