Old photograph of the County Buildings in Falkirk, Scotland. Opened officially on 6 June 1879, the Old Burgh Buildings were designed by prominent local architects Alexander and William Black. The building featured an asymmetric frontage built in a beautiful variant of the Scots Baronial style, complete with decorative gables, a bartizan corner turret, and rubble masonry
