Tour Scotland Photographs Video Clunie Church Perthshire

Tour Scotland photograph of Clunie Church and cemetery, Perthshire, Scotland. Clunie Parish Church replaced the existing church in 1840, and was built on the site of an earlier church. The present church stands alone on rising ground, surrounded by its graveyard. It is built in stone and has a slate roof. It is in full ecclesiastical use and in good condition. The church has a stone tower that contains a bell, cast in 1801 and over 25 inches wide. It was made by Thomas Mears of London, England, at the Whitechapel Foundry.

Tour Scotland photograph of Clunie Graveyard, Perthshire, Scotland. Within the grounds of the parish church, rebuilt in 1840, stands a mausoleum with a romanesque doorway thought to be from an earlier 12th or 13th century church which stood on the same site.
