Tour Scotland travel photography the sea and coast at Elgol on history visit and trip to Isle of Skye, Scotland. According to tradition, the name of the village here comes from a battle fought with five ships by Aella, a follower of Vortigern, against the Picts and Scots. Elgol, Scottish Gaelic: Ealaghol, is a village on the shores of Loch Scavaig towards the end of the Strathaird peninsula.
