Tour Scotland Video Bananas Song Fruit Festival Perth Perthshire

Tour Scotland video of the Bananas Song by The BarrowBand at the fruit festival on ancestry visit to Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. In the 15th and 16th centuries, Portuguese colonists started banana plantations in the Atlantic Islands, Brazil, and western Africa. North Americans began consuming bananas on a small scale at very high prices shortly after the Civil War, though it was only in the 1880s that it became more widespread. bananas are extremely nutritious; rich in potassium, riboflavin, niacin and fibre, and the rapid energy boost given by their high sugar levels means that they're a great snack.
