Old photograph of a Mill in Milngavie, Scotland. Milngavie is a Scottish town in East Dunbartonshire, on the Allander Water, at the northwestern edge of Glasgow. Milngavie known as Milgay, " ay " being a Scots spelling of ae̯, and the original pronunciation of MacKay, possibly meaning " Mill of Guy " An alternative suggestion is that the original translation meant Gavin's Mill.
