Tour Scotland Travel Video Police Officers On Bicycles West Mill Street Perth Perthshire
Tour Scotland travel video of Police Officers on bicycles on West Mill Street on visit to the Fair City of Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. Police officers often patrol communities. Benefits include increased visibility and accessibility as well as providing another tool for local officers to respond to the needs of their communities in addition to foot and vehicle patrols. People like to see their local officers out and about and this creates opportunities for better engagement with members of the public. And like these officers they are very friendly.

Tour Scotland Travel Video Cloudy Spring Morning Drive From Blairgowrie to Coupar Angus Perthshire
Tour Scotland travel video of a cloudy Spring morning road trip drive from Blairgowrie on ancestry visit to Coupar Angus, Perthshire, Scotland. In the Middle Ages Coupar Angus was the site of the major Cistercian abbey of Coupar Angus, one of Scotland's most important monasteries, founded by King Malcolm IV in the 1160s. Of the abbey, only architectural fragments, preserved in the 19th century parish church, which is probably on the site of the monastic church, or built into houses and walls throughout the town, survive, along with part of one of its gatehouses.

Tour Scotland Travel Video Misty Spring Morning Drive To Blairgowrie Perthshire
Tour Scotland travel video of a misty Spring morning road trip drive on ancestry visit to Blairgowrie, Perthshire, Scotland. Blairgowrie was made a barony in favour of George Drummond of Blair in 1634 by a royal charter of King Charles I, and became a free burgh in 1809. In 1724 the military road from Coupar Angus to Fort George which passes through the town on the line of the A923 and A93 was completed. The town expanded hugely in the 19th century thanks to the employment provided by the many textile mills which were built along the River Ericht, all now closed.

Tour Scotland Travel Video 2 Bagpipes And Classic Cars Drive It Day Blairgowrie Perthshire
Tour Scotland travel video 2 of bagpipes music and classic cars driving along Wellmeadow Street on Drive It Day on visit to Blairgowrie, Perthshire, Scotland. Vintage and cassic cars were piped through Blairgowire, before driving up Glenshee to Braemar, and the onwards towards. From Banchory there route would take them over the Angus hills to Cairn O’Mount and Fettercairn. Brechin would come next, then Forfar and Kirriemuir before returning to Blairgowrie. And finally supper at Scone Palace. The Drive It Day event was organised by The Rotary Club of Blairgowrie to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer’s Scotland. Every year Drive It Day is purposefully held on the Sunday nearest to the 23rd April. Because it commemorates the 64 cars that left London on the first day of the Thousand Mile Trial on 23 April 1900.
