Tour Scotland Video River Tay November 24th

Tour Scotland video of the River Tay and Old Bridge this morning in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. Perth Bridge which is also known as Smeaton's Bridge and, locally, the Old Bridge, is a toll-free bridge that spans the River Tay, connecting Perth, on the eastern side of the river, to Bridgend, on its western side, carrying both automotive and pedestrian traffic of West Bridge Street.
The bridge was completed in October 1771, which places it in the Georgian era. The engineer of its construction was John Smeaton, for whom the bridge is named.

Tour Scotland Video Rural Drive November 23rd

Tour Scotland video of a wee drive today in rural Perthshire, Scotland. I drove the back roads this morning from Dundee to Scone. This narrow Scottish road goes passed Evelick Castle which looks out across the River Tay from high on the Sidlaw hills in Perthshire, Scotland, some 5 miles east of Perth. Evelick Castle has its romantic story, and song, of Bonnie Leezie Lindsay and her Highland lover.
