This tranquil campsite was popular with walkers, with the West Highland Way footpath right on the doorstep, while Ben Lomond, the highest mountain in the area, is north of the campsite near Rowardennan. Milarrochy Bay campsite appealed to boaters and canoeists too with a long loch side frontage with slipways for boat launching.
