Tour Scotland video of Massed Bands at the Military Tattoo in North Inch Park on ancestry visit to P erth, Perthshire, Scotland. As well as performers from Scotland and Norway, Perth’s first tattoo featured acts from as far afield as New Zealand, Canada and Nepal. This was part of the celebration of the 750th anniversary of The Treaty of Perth. The Treaty of Perth, signed on 2 July 1266, ended military conflict between Magnus VI of Norway and king Alexander III of Scotland over the sovereignty of the Hebrides and the Isle of Man. The Treaty was agreed three years after the Battle of Largs in 1263.
