Tour Scotland Video Inverboyndie Model Railway Show SECC Glasgow

Tour Scotland video of the Inverboyndie layout by Greenock and District Model Railway Club at the 2016 Model Railway show in the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) in Glasgow, Scotland. The Club was formed in the 1978 and initially met in rooms at Greenock Central Station until the demolition of the original station buildings forced us to move on. In the early 1990s we occupied premises in Chalmers Street, later moving to the former Scottish Water filter station at Weymouth Crescent. Although these premises were less than ideal we stayed for a few years before the opportunity to " adopt " Fort Matilda Station presented itself. The " Fort " officially became our new home on September 30th, 2010 and has proved to be an excellent location for our Club activities. Membership has remaained fairly steady over the years but, more recently we have enjoyed an increase in numbers to approximately 30, including some new junior members.
