Old Photograph East Main Street West Kilbride Scotland

Old photograph of cottages and children East Main Street in West Kilbride, Ayrshire, Scotland. In the early 1800s, weavers' cottages extended up Main Street, which also housed various traders like drapers, grocers, and shoemakers. The arrival of the railway in 1878 nearby spurred further expansion, turning the village into a more substantial settlement
