Tour Scotland photograph of the Skye Bridge, Isle of Skye, Scotland. The Skye Bridge is a road bridge over Loch Alsh, Scotland, connecting the Isle of Skye to the island of Eilean Bàn. Construction of the bridge began in 1992 and the bridge was opened by Secretary of State for Scotland Michael Forsyth on 16 October 1995.
