Old travel Blog photograph of a steam approaching the railway station in Newport-on-Tay in Fife, across from Dundee, Scotland. Newport-on-Tay East station was on the branch line from the southern end of the Tay Bridge to Tayport, formerly part of the North British Railway, then the LNER and from 1948 the Scottish Region of British Railways. The station closed in 1969.
