Andrew served with the Royal Australian Air Force and died aged 30, on the 28th of December 1942. He was the son of Andrew Murray MacGregor Wyllie and Josephine Lottie Wyllie, of Glebe Point, New South Wales, Australia; husband of Mavis Marjorie Wyllie, of Glebe Point, New South Wales.
