Old Photograph Farmers' Market Perth Perthshire Scotland

Old photograph of the Farmers' Market in the city centre of Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. In the Middle Ages Perth had weekly markets. It also had annual fairs. In the Middle Ages fairs were like markets but they were held only once a year and they attracted buyers and sellers from a wide area. These days the market has between 15 and 30 stalls selling a range of local seasonal produce including fresh meat; fruit & vegetables; seafood; oils dressings, takes place the first Saturday of every month in King Edward Street, Perth, Scotland from 9am until 2pm.
