Old photograph of a woman and children outside the Post Office in Gattonside near Melrose, Scottish Borders, Scotland. This is a small village in the Scottish Borders, on the north side of the River Tweed. In 1143, the lands of Gattonside were granted to the monks of Melrose Abbey by King David I.
