Tour Scotland video of photographs of the Crowning Of King Robert The Bruce on the Stone of Destiny on Moot Hill on visit to Scone Palace, Scotland. Robert the Bruce was King of Scots from 1306 until his death in 1329 and led Scotland during the first of the Wars of Scottish Independence against England. His most famous victory came at the Battle of Bannockburn in June 1314 when he defeated a much larger English army under Edward II, confirming the re-establishment of an independent Scottish monarchy.


The story of one of Scotland's greatest national heroes brought to life in the historic surroundings of the Moot Hill at Scone Palace, Perthshire, Scotland. Costumed actors telling the story of Bannockburn and Robert the Bruce, King of Scots.
