Tour Scotland Video Caroline Gilmour St Andrew’s Day St Andrews Fife
Tour Scotland video of Caroline Gilmour singing at a St Andrew’s Day event in Market Street on ancestry visit to St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. Caroline grew up in former coal mining village, Newtongrange, near Edinburgh. Her love of music started in her childhood where she fell in love with 80s pop and power ballads. During her teenage years, she became heavily involved in music at school, playing saxophone and keyboard in various school bands. Inspiration to write her own songs and learn to play acoustic guitar stemmed from singer songwriters such as Alanis Morissette and Scotland’s own Eddi Reader.
