Tour Scotland video of Buddy MacDonald from the North Shore of Cape Breton island in Nova Scotia, Canada, performing at the Sunday afternoon picnic at the Perthshire Amber Festival on visit to Dunkeld, Perthshire, Scotland. Over the years Buddy has travelled and entertained audiences throughout Canada, the United States, Germany, Scotland and the Scandinavian countries, performing as a solo act and in different combinations with other musicians. The residents of Cape Breton can be grouped into five main cultures; Scottish, Mi'kmaq, Acadian, Irish, and English, with respective languages Scottish Gaelic, Mi'kmaq, French, and English. English is now the primary spoken language, though Mi'kmaq, Scottish Gaelic and French are still heard.
