Tour Scotland video of Armistice Day at the Mercat Cross and King Edward VII Memorial on Armistice Day on ancestry visit to Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month marks the signing of the Armistice, on 11th November 1918, to signal the end of World War One. Armistice Day was renamed Remembrance Day after the Second World War. Wreaths were laid by Provost Liz Grant along with representatives from Police Scotland, Legion Scotland and local military organisations. The Piper and Bugler were from 51st Highland, 7th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, 7 SCOTS.
