Tour Scotland Photograph Painting By Harry McGregor


Tour Scotland photograph of a painting by Harry McGregor, who was born in 1894 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He moved to Glasgow for a short time in 1900, then to Peebles in the Scottish Borders in 1909 and Loandhead in 1929 before retiring to Edinburgh. Sometimes painted in Kirkubright where he became friends with William Stewart MacGeorge who was a Scottish artist associated to the Kirkcudbright School. William attended the Royal Institution Art School in Edinburgh before studying under Charles Verlat in Antwerp. Harry McGregor died in 1935.
