Tour Scotland photograph of a Perthshire landscape painting by Colin Gillespie Mitchell who was born in 1870 in Glasgow, Scotland. Colin was a landscape painter in oil and watercolour. He was fond of portraying scenes on the River Tweed and the River Clyde. Trained at Glasgow School of Art, he spent some time in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England. In 1934 he was Secretary of Glasgow Art Club. He died in 1938.
