Tour Scotland Video Irish Jig Dance Highland Games Blackford Perthshire

Tour Scotland video of The Irish Jig dance at the Scottish Highland Games in Blackford, Perthshire, Scotland. Female dancers wear one of several combinations of red, green and white blouses, dresses, skirts and cummerbunds. Dancers also wear white underskirts and a white apron. Irish Jig shoes are black, green or red and, though they closely resemble ghillies, are hard shoes with heels. Blog post of interest to folks with ancestry, genealogy or Scottish Family Roots in Scotland who may wish to travel and visit one day.
