Struan Cottage is a very sweet and compact stone cottage, ideally situated in the town of Buckie, close to the sea and can sleep three people. There is a double bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a sofa bed. Outside there is ample off road parking and a private front garden with seating. Struan Cottage is a wonderful base for your holiday.The town of Buckie overlooks the beautiful Moray Firth, on the north east coast of Scotland. The town has an array of shops and pubs and is a great coastal base from which to explore this wonderful part of Scotland. Regular boat trips leave from the harbours of Buckie and further along the coast to Macduff, which offer the chance to see bottlenose dolphins and an array of sea birds.

It is ideally placed to visit the abundance of quaint fishing villages and picturesque harbours littered along this part of the Scottish coastline. The stunning scenery can be appreciated as you follow the Speyside Way or Malt Whisky Trail. Our location makes us central to areas such as Inverness and Loch Ness and Aberdeen and Royal Deeside making Buckie an ideal location for day trips to many other areas in the North East of Scotland or in the Highlands. Moray is a top destination for sea fishing, as well as Salmon and Trout fishing on the world famous River Spey. There are eight 5 star visitor attractions in the area as well as 16 golf courses, including a famous championship links course at Lossiemouth & Banff. There are activities such as horse riding, mountain biking, walking, field sports, hiking, hill walking, climbing, camping and caravanning, sailing, diving, water skiing and winter skiing. Moray is the county of Macbeth and is steeped in history, with a wealth of castles, historical buildings and sites to explore.
