Tour Scotland self catering holiday cottage recommendations in Portgordon, Moray, Scotland.

This Cottage is located in the quiet village of Portgordon in Moray. The nearest town is Buckie which is 5 kms away. The village has a small shop and pub, bowling green, harbour and parks. Portgordon is a quiet and peaceful village only a hour from Aberdeen, Inverness or Aviemore providing a great base for exploring the North East of Scotland and the Highlands. With local Golf, Fishing, unspoiled beaches, Spey Bay Nature Reserve, Highland Games, Spey Side Festival, Castles, Spey Side Walk and The Whisky Trail there is plenty to explore. Not forgetting our local seal colony and passing dolphins. Our Cottage has been recently redecorated and refurbished to provide bright and comfortable accommodation with real character. Downstairs there is a lounge, with multi-fuel stove, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and shower room. The other two bedrooms are upstairs, both with twin single beds. The cottage has been tastefully furnished and fully equipped to make this a cosy comfortable home from home. The multi-fuel stove and supply of logs and peat creates the perfect country cottage atmosphere. Portgordon is on the A990 road. The Speyside Way, Moray Coast trail and National Cycle Route 1 pass through the village. The nearest railway stations are at Elgin and Keith.
