7 Harport is a terrace cottage in the centre of the village of Carbost, next to Loch Harport on the Isle of Skye. This cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double, a twin and a single with a stacker bed, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and an electric fire. Outside there is roadside parking and an enclosed lawn garden with furniture. Amenities: Electric night storage heaters with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, Smart TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking. Enclosed lawn gardens with furniture. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Direct access from garden to loch, children to be supervised at all times. The friendly village of Carbost is situated on the west coast of the Isle of Skye. The village boasts wonderful views of Loch Harport and is home to the Talisker Whisky Distillery, a shop and pub. Nearby is the popular Dunvegan Castle, along with a number of museums in the area. Also within driving distance is the capital town of Portree.
Harris Cottage is a traditional Hebridean croft house, extended and upgraded to what has been for three years now a comfortable, cosy and well equipped holiday cottage. Harris Cottage sleeps four. For the comfort of our guests we have a policy of no smoking and no pets. Situated on the Minginish Peninsula on the edge of the crofting community of Portnalong, Harris Cottage has views across open croft land to Loch Harport. We are only 4 miles from Carbost, the main village in the area. Carbost boasts a well-stocked village shop and a Post Office, a pub/restaurant and a hostel. Portnalong itself has Taigh Ailean, the local hotel.
