The house is located literally on the Fife Coastal Walking path and within 200 meters of the local village restaurant, harbour, swing park, and outdoor sports centre. There is ample street parking outside the property. The property is ideally located for those wishing to explore the historical coastal villages, and in particular for golfers and tourists to the region with St Andrews being approximately 20 miles away. The cottage is located in Cellardyke which adjoins Anstruther the main village in the region.

Dove Cottage is a rural retreat in the heart of the East Neuk of Fife, 2 miles from the beautiful village of Anstruther and 8 miles from the popular resort of St Andrews.The cosy but spacious stone built cottage was renovated in the early 1990s from old farm buildings at Carvenom. It forms an L-shape around an enclosed private courtyard, with the living room and kitchen at one end, and a hall leading from the living room to the rest of the cottage.There are 3 bedrooms: a king size with en suite bathroom, a twin, and a triple room with a single bed above the double.

Built in 1790, a matter of months after the Bastille was stormed, this ancient cottage is located across the slipway from Dreel Tavern, the historic centre of Anstruther Wester and just 200 metres from the harbour, beach and Anstruther's many cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops.The fully renovated cottage is warm and spacious and benefits from being adjacent to the Dreel Tavern which numbers amongst the best food and drink establishments in town.
