Old Photograph Learney House Torphins Scotland

Old photograph of Learney House by Torphins, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. A Scots Baronial country house and sporting estate in the Cromar district of Aberdeenshire, Learney lies a mile to the north of the village of Torphins. The house was built around 1747, rebuilt and extended after a fire in 1838, with further work undertaken in 1847 and 1868. It still retains some 18th century panelling and the dining room features its original 1840 decoration.
